Self-Raising Flour: 350 grams
Baking Powder: 1 teaspoon
Mustard Powder: 1 teaspoon
Margarine: 75 grams (room temperature)
Grated Cheddar Cheese: 125 grams
Egg: 1
Milk: 150 ml
Pinch of Salt

Direction:
1.Preheat oven to 190°C or 375°F.
2. Lightly grease the base and sides of 2lb loaf tin.
3. Put flour, salt, baking powder, pepper and mustard powder into a bowl.
4. Add margarine into dry ingredients and rub with fingers until the contents assume the shape of breadcrumbs.
5. Add cheese.
6. Beat one egg and milk together and add.
7. Mix all ingredients and make the dough.
8. Transfer to a tin and level evenly.
9. Make a cut down the center of the dough with a knife.
10. Bake for 35-40 minutes until risen browned.
11. Check with the blade of a knife to see if it is cooked inside.
12. Remove the cheese loaf from the oven.
13. Wait for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire tray for cooling down.
