- Always measure curtains before washing in case you need to stretch them back into size or shape.
- Remove hooks or weight of any kind if they have. Lose the tapes so they lie flat.
- Before washing, dust them with a vacuum cleaner or shake them out.
- Don't overload the washing machine as the curtains will get heavier in water and hamper the spin.
