Glazed nuts are favourite appetizer or snack, and are very simple to make. Use walnuts, pecans, almonds for this recipe, or use all these nuts together for mixed delight.
Ingredients:
One egg white
half cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 pound walnuts cut into halves
Directions
2. Take a large bowl to mix all ingredients.
3. Beat egg white until frothy.
4. Add ground ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla essence.
5. Stir in brown sugar. Add nuts, and stir so that all ingredients are coated.
6. Spread evenly onto the pan.
7. Bake for 30 minutes, stir until well toasted and golden brown.
8. Remove from oven, and cool before serving.
