Mixed fried lentils



Ingredients
·         Mix lentils 300 gm (red lentil, yellow lentil, green peas)
·         Onion 1
·         Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
·         Cumin powder ½ teaspoon
·         Onion, ginger, garlic, cumin and chilli 1 teaspoon (mix these all five spice)
·         Tomato 2
·         Ginger 1 teaspoon (chopped)
·         Chilli powder ½ teaspoon
·         Salt 1 teaspoon or to taste
·         Green chilli 1 (chopped)
Cooking Directions
1.     Take all mix lentils (red, yellow and pigeon) in the same quantity.
2.     Soak these lentils in water for 4 hours.
3.     Then add turmeric in little water and cook in the pressure cooker for 10 minutes.
4.     Open the cooker and add onion, tomatoes, ginger, chilli powder and boil for 5 to 6 minutes.
5.     Add five spices (onion, ginger, garlic, cumin, chilli) in a skillet and dry roast it.
6.     When it starts to change colour then add this mixture on lentils and cook for 5 minutes.
7.     Take it away from the stove and cover it with a lid.
8.     Mixed fried lentil is ready to serve.
